Kids can skate free! Summer is a long break and when you have children at home, it can quickly get costly to do outings together. Thankfully, we have our 75 Free and Cheap summer list for families that includes deals like Kids Skate free and many other.
The 2025 Kids Skate Free program has changed since its original start, however it still can be a good deal.
How Does It Work?
1.You now need to become a member to take advantage of the free skate offer. The cost is $4.99 a child for annual membership.
Each annual membership allows one child up to 2 skating sessions per week at a participating rink.
2. While it’s free to skate, skate rental is additional.
3. Please visit kidsskatefree.com to verify that there is a rink in your area. TAMPA BAY: Currently the only participating center is Skate World in Lakeland, FL.
4. Eligible days, time, and ages vary by rink. Please check the rink in your area to view their requirements.
- Purchase Membership & take note of confirmation number (you will need this when you register)
- Head back to kidsskatefree.com and sign up at the rink of your choice.
- Download the myhownd app and weekly passes will show in your wallet each Monday for each eligible child.
